During the 2021 ASCO Annual Meeting, Know AML spoke with Hui Zhang, Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, Guangzhou, CN. We asked, Could cellular therapy be a new treatment for childhood acute myeloid leukemia? Zhang shares his opinion on whether CAR T-cell therapy can currently provide a cure for childhood acute myeloid leukemia, or at best maintain low measurable disease until a patient receives transplant. He then proposes future prospects for cellular therapy.
