During Blood Cancer Awareness Month, Know AML spoke to Anna Mamwell, a patient in remission. We asked, What signs and symptoms of acute myeloid leukemia did you develop, and did any symptoms remain after treatment? In this video, Anna describes that her initial symptoms were "flu like" in that she had a fever and was tired, but she also experienced neck pain, and a rash on her chest.
