Let's unite to educate and raise awareness of acute myeloid leukemia! Each year, on AML World Awareness Day – April 21 – we campaign, together with our members and community, to increase understanding of acute myeloid leukemia and bring attention to the resources available.

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, where we again join with our community to raise awareness of acute myeloid leukemia.

Below are some of the education and awareness campaigns that we've run for AML World Awareness Day and Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

Blood Cancer Awareness Month 2022

For Blood Cancer Awareness Month in September 2022, an education and awareness campaign called 'Keep MOVING, keep LEARNING' was launched. The campaign aimed to empower patients by enabling them to have control of their disease journey, help to improve the patient experience by providing resources to turn to, whatever stage they are at on their acute myeloid leukemia journey, and direct patients to sources of information and support in areas such as: nutritional support, movement and exercise, complementary therapies, wellbeing and psychological support, management of side effects, and financial and employment assistance.
