Anna Mamwell
November 30, 2020
During Blood Cancer Awareness Month, Know AML spoke to Anna Mamwell, a patient in remission. We asked if she had any advice for patients with acute myeloid leukemia on how to best protect themselves. In this video, Anna describes limiting visits from people to recuperate both physically and mentally, as well as avoiding high-risk places such as shopping centers. She states that increased hygiene becomes "second nature" by the time you have finished treatment.
